- 1 cups of filtered water
- 1 cucumber (peeled if waxed)
- 1 honeydew melon (peeled and seeded)
Did you know that on the inside of the cucumber’s temperature can be 20 degrees lower than the outside temperature? This is why it’s a great drink on a hot day.
This makes a full pitcher and you can store the rest in the fridge and, unlike juice which you should drink immediately. The recipe requires less water because of the melon and cucumber, so add the half of the water to your blender first and then after blending ingredients add more if you need.
Honeydew melons are a great source of provitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, zinc. Cucumbers contain beta-carotene, vitamin C, and manganese along with many other nutrients. Check out the benefits of cucumbers here.
