- Watermelon with rinds
Always be sure to wash your watermelon well before cutting it. Use organic watermelon only.
Since watermelon has a high water content, its juice is a natural diuretic and may help to cleanse the kidneys and bladder of impurities. Watermelon is a great source of lycopene, vitamin C, vitamin A, Vitamin B, magnesium, potassium and thiamin. The rinds are just as nutritious. I like to save the rinds to add to other juices too.
