Red Cabbage Juice Recipe

  • 3 big handfuls of cut red cabbage
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 cucumber (peeled if waxed)
  • 1 apple (without seeds)

I made this purple juice this morning. I like that it isn’t too sweet. I recommend an extra apple if you want it sweeter.

Red cabbage is so excellent for you. Red cabbage juice has anthocyanins which are antioxidants found in grapes and berries. This is known to reduce plaque on the brain which is the cause of Alzheimer’s. I wonder if we all drank red cabbage juice every day instead of orange juice would there be as many people with Alzheimer’s or dementia?

Red cabbage juice also contains glucosinolates, these are cancer attacking chemicals that help to break down carcinogens and remove them from our bodies. It is also good to treat stomach ulcers, bronchitis, asthma, headaches and skin. Your body will love this treat of red cabbage juice.
